Embedding Basics:

You can simply Embed Objects in Google Sites webpages.

Click 'Edit' your Google Site page.
Then Click Insert >
  • Link
  • Table of Contents
  • Sub-page listing
  • Horizontal Line

Google:
Gadgets:
  • Recent Posts
  • Recent Updated Files
  • Recent List Items
  • TextBox
  • More Gadjets (+ Gadgets By URL)




Embedding Options:

Alignment: Left/Center/Right
Size: Small/Medium/Large
Wrap: On/Off
Some HTML Editing is useful for Images, like an Image Border.





Although you can upload any file type to Google Docs - Files like Flash (swf) and pdf - Embedding Directly is not Supported.
