In Google Apps you can set you email, calendar, sites and docs access by a simpler sub domain name.

This will  make it easier to login to email on-line.




DNS Records - CNAME

DNS Records - CNAME change - You can set your Email start page to

 mail.mywebsite.com


Google Apps (Standard)

Also available in Google Apps (Standard) -You can set simple start pages for the following:

Sub Domain Examples

Calendar > calendar.mywebsite.com
Docs  > docs.mywebsite.com
Sites > sites.mywebsite.com
Mail > mail.mywebsite.com

DNS Records : A Records

Simply set the 'Host'  A Record to mail or webmail or email and 'Points To' to ghs.google.com

These sub domains make it much easier to login directly online than the Original Long URLs .
